The principles of the association

This extract of the statutes, which the volunteers promised to comply with, is the best definition ever made to describe the primary goals of the Secours populaire.

Observing the statutes of the association, the members of the association adapted the motto « All what is human is ours » to them and gathered for one reason : practicing solidarity.
To achieve this aim,
The members of the association suggested to support people and their family, victims of bias, social discrimination, natural catastrophes, poverty, hunger, underdevelopment and armed conflicts according to the principles of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights on the financial, health, medical, moral and legal level.
The members gathered in the association bighearted people, children, young people or adults, whatever their social background may be, whatever their political, philosophical or religious sympathies may be; they payed much attention to the evolution of solidarity and character qualities with their volunteers.
They regularly improved the structures and the power of the association with the creation of local committees and departmental federations.
